In-person Group Yoga Class

We are restarting in-person group classes at YogaVahini in Kottivakkam!

If you are seeking to learn yoga the traditional way: discovering your relationship with your body, breath and mind through simple progressive Asana, Pranayama and Meditative practices, this is the class for you!

The classes are designed to help you experience yoga in the simplest form and progress at a comfortable pace.

It will enable you to walk the path of self awareness and exploration towards knowing more about yourself and how to live a better life.

Group size will be small to ensure personalised attention and care.

Who is it for? 

For anyone in the age group of 18 - 50 years, who wants to explore the power of the breath, flexibility and strength of the body and experiencing a quiet mind.

This course is not for people with health issues as you will then need one-on-one attention and personalised practices.

You will learn a range of important asanas with breath coordination that offer many physical, physiological benefits

You can experience better clarity and lightness through simple pranayama practices

You can become more attentive and calm that will help you function better.

Classes starting from March 2nd, on Monday, Wednesday, Friday

Batch 1: 6.30 - 7.30 AM,

Batch 2: 9.30 - 10.30AM

Fees: Rs.3000/- per month (for 12 classes).

About Us

Our teachers and therapists have several years of experience teaching in the classical tradition of yoga as received from Sri T Krishnamacharya & Sri TKV Desikachar.

The core philosophy of this tradition is individualised practice designed and progressively adapted to changing needs of each individual, irrespective of age, stage of life, roles you play or state of health. Anyone can practice yoga, the desire to learn and commitment to practice are the only prerequisites.

Our classes are customised for the group, incorporating a vast and rich repertoire of tools with conscious breathing playing the central role. With a small group you will receive greater care and attention.

Progress is reviewed and the teaching is re-calibrated in a step manner to help you advance with your practice, deepen your awareness and benefit from the many gifts yoga can offer.

Please note: Fee once paid is non-refundable. However, for any reason you are unable to continue with group classes, we can transfer the fee to personalised classes offered at the YogaVahini centre.
